Some reasons I like Baju kurung.
” Adik, Adik tak leh masuk ikut pintu ni, ni untuk staff jer”

EH pakcik, saya pun Staff jugak la. It’s a waste of my time to go around this building, went down n up stairs, ring the bell at the reception’s counter ( which usually empty), Ask the staff there to take the key of this lecture hall when I can take it without interrupting all of you if i you just let me in through the back door, which located just apposite of my laboratory, and take the key which was always hanging just beside the door frame.
Urghh..Things that can be done in 1 minutes but all of you want us to wait until 10 minutes. Duh… talk about energy efficiency, talk about time is money.

” Okay, boleh jer pinjam, bagi kad staff lecturer awk”
That’s when im wearing Baju Kurung instead of T shirt, meeting the very same librarian holding the very same staff’s card. Lu ingt I budak 1st year nak curi-curi guna kad staff ke? Why dont you just pick up the phone and call the lecturer instead of asking me to go back and prepare a formal letter states that I got permission to use the card when the next day I go you never ask for any letter. Owh.And all of you speak of improve services at the counter.
Don’t you know that most of the lecturers here wore t-shirt jer? Especially the field base researcher/lecturers.
Fuh.. Habes the emo part.
The best part is because Baju Kurung is so comfortable. It’s loose so you dont have to tuck ur stomach in (if you got those love handles) when sitting.
It can be wore anywhere. Even if that day you have luncheon ,meet the vice cancelor or you need to go to the mall, or attending lecturer, or went to the mosque, You don’t have to worry bout wearing unsuitable attire. ( of course not apply to physical activities).
what else?
To Prove that we are truly Malays?
Because It never look to tight or to loose, it never fit wrongly with any types of shapes.
